About YouTob
Founded on September 22, 2025, YouTob began as an attempt to preserve YouTube's history as a "museum" on Neocities: instead of typing "http://web.archive.org/web/20051202065547/http://www.youtube.com/", you would simply type "http://youtob.neocities.org"; and you would have access to the entire history of YouTube, with fewer keys to press. Currently, YouTob has completely abandoned that vision, moving away from the Wayback Machine entirely.
Currently, we've focused on providing a dynamic, easy, accessible, and simple-to-understand experience for users like you, who are reading this: through old YouTube design.
Instead of recreating the past, we decided to live for it.
